Executive Director, Tools of Thought Initiative
University of Chicago
I work on improving outcomes for individuals and organizations through metacognitive interventions—practical tools that help people think and learn more effectively—with a particular focus on workplace and career-readiness settings. My passion is applying behavioral science to advance human flourishing, including exploring how new technologies like AI and algorithms can support this goal.
Prior to leading the Tools of Thought Initiative at the University of Chicago, I conducted behavioral science research for public policy, co-founded a behavioral science tech startup, and was a management consultant at Bain & Co. I hold an MBA from Harvard Business School and undergraduate degrees in law and economics from the University of Sydney.
(Those em-dashes are all mine.)
